The Prisoner Soul:Poem By Nainika Gautam

O dear heart, let's do some calculations today,
Let's be manipulative and try to see the things their way...
I want to be free for once today,
I want to breathe freshness of my own beauty my own way...
Don't worry, I have my valid reasons for what I want you do,
Its quite simple, I just want a life of mine which is not possible without you...

Do you remember, remember that person who walked by us?
Yes, the one whom we never actually had and still tried hard not to lose...
The one who used us and left deep painful scars,
Yes the same one after whom you stopped believing in people and became friends with stars?

And do you not remember those people in society?
Yes the same, who always had a long list of expectations to be fulfilled by us with utmost priority,
The same people who never did anything for you and me but want our life to go their way...
The same ones who stopped us from dreaming because our desires were different, than had they...
Yes, those same people for whom we learnt to keep our dreams aside...

Let's not forget to count those people,
Who always saw us by their side in troubles,
Yes the same ones who left you to howl alone in pain,
The same who made it your destiny to face things alone and realize all efforts made for them were in vain...

O dear heart, I know you do,
And not because I said so, but the scars left never let you do.
I have  a solution for this,
A simple one that can reduce your pain,
and also set me free from scars...

Take some rest now and let the mind create its own stars...
You are passionate, fall prey easily to all that fuss,
Mind will calculate the profitable relationships exactly the way the world does..
You are naive, assuming world to be same,
Lets follow mind now, trust me efforts will not be in vain...
Lets turn into a stone for now,
Trust me people stay away from stones, fear of being hurt haunts them too, wow...
Let's trust ourselves and tie our happiness to our own-selves,
All people have nothing new to give, all those scars and pain in new forms and shapes.

Allow me to be a free soul now, this prison haunts me a lot,
Let me live my own life, I'm tired to be a puppet...

Dear Life- By Nainika Gautam

Life, o dear life,
When one day I'm gone,
Please realize I was not alone...
There may be many who didn't find me worth affection,
But do realize, there are a few who adore me with full dedication...

Life, o dear life,
When one day I'm gone,
Please realize I had a few things unsaid which remain,
To my love, that I actually love you despite all my mess you went through,
To my mistakes of human form, thanks for all bitter experiences, which made me grow,
To my haters, I still love you for considering me worth comparison, I never paid heed though...
To my dreams, your life is present of my ambitious hard work,
Pay me back by staying high and not letting my physical absence affect my presence in minds...
To my attitude, no matter if you were result of bitterness,
You were still high as you gave me a life which never left me lacking my own sweetness...

Life, o dear life,
When one day I'm gone,
Please realize that, like all other I was not an epitome of perfection,
But there were a few who let me into their hearts and minds without even a single rejection,
Give my soul a moment to bow down to them and before bidding final good bye,
Give me a chance to embrace them, they may be broken seeing me away, sigh...

Life, o dear life,
I know you realize I have fallen short of words,
But you also know I have had a living not only decorated with roses, but also hurt with swords,
Let me take a moment out to thank you for happening,
For every moment, petty or grand, ecstatic or Depressing,
For problems and their solutions, from nothing to each and everything...
Let me take a moment, to beg sorry, for letting you be in illusion that you exist for your own self,
But remember, you are still grand, for you contributed to someone else's life...
